| 1 cup | water | |
| 1/3 cup | vinegar (or 1/2 cup) |
Wash and pierce potatoes with fork. Microwave 10-12 minutes until tender. Coolslightly. Peel and slice. In 2 quart casserole, cut bacon in small pieces. Cover with paper towel.Microwave 6 minutes until crisp. Remove to paper towel. Set aside. Stir flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, pepper into bacon fat. Cook 1-2 minutesuntil bubbly.Add water and vinegar to flour mixture. Cook 4 minutes until it boils andthickens. Add potatoes and bacon. Stir gently.
