Thoroughly mix dry ingredients (first 4) together with whisk. In another bowl,beat together wet ingredients (next 4) and then add to dry ingredientsBlend with wooden spoon. Stir in pineapple and mashed bananas. Pour into 3 greasedand lightly floured 9" pans. Bake at 350 ° for 23-28 minutes. Let cool in pansfor 10 minutes and then set each cake on cooling rack. Frost when completely cool. Frosting:1/2 cup butter, soft8 oz. cream cheese, soft1 to 1/2 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanillaOptional: few teaspoons of remaining pineapple, drained.
