Polynesian Carrots

1/4 cupButter
2 cupscarrots -- sliced
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tspnutmeg
1/8 tsppepper
3 tbsp.dates -- chopped
3 tbsp.crushed pineapple -- drained
3 tbspcashews

Directions

In heavy saucepan melt butter. Add carrots and seasonings. Cover; cook over med.heat, stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in dates and pineapple; heatthrough. Garnish with cashews.
