Sift 2 cups flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt. Cut in 1/4 cup brownsugar, 1/2 cup shortening until mixture is like cornmeal. Add 1/2 cup finelychopped pecans, 1 egg, 2/3 cup light cream. Add to flour mixture. Mix only untildampened. Spread dough in 2 well-greased 8 inch pans. (or cut biscuits). Bake at450 ° for 10-12 minutes. (Can be frozen and warmed)
